The protection of your personal data during the entire business process is important to us. In the following, we explain what information we collect at Nürburgring eRacing SA during your visit to our Nürburgring eSports Bar and how they are used.

We are entitled to process your personal data if you have given your explicit consent to do so, if this is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the protection of our legitimate interests, including the processing of your requests and the individual adaptation and improvement of our services in line with your needs (Article 6 paragraph 1, sentence 1, lit. a,  b and f GDPR).

Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a user account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us or registering for a user account (e.g. to register for an eSports racing series). The type of data collected results from the respective input fields, in which it is indicated in each case whether the information is voluntary or necessary to use our services. Nürburgring eRacing SA is entitled to transmit this data to and by third parties commissioned by it with the execution of the contract, insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the concluded contracts.

When you register for a user account, we usually collect your name, date of birth, email address and telephone. You can also enter your address as well as billing and delivery address in your user account. As part of an order, we collect data about the goods you have selected, including the selected size, price information, vouchers you may use, billing and delivery address and the selected payment and shipping method. As part of the execution of the contract, we collect data in particular with regard to payment, delivery and returns. To receive our newsletter, you must provide your e-mail address; we also store information for your newsletter confirmation and your use of our information offers. As part of our customer service, we may collect further information about your concerns and how they are handled, including any correspondence regarding them.

We use the data provided by you to process your registration for a racing series and other inquiries. After complete fulfilment of the contract, your data will be stored until the expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods. Your data will only be used for other purposes if you have consented to the use of your data, if we are entitled or obliged to use it due to legal regulations or if we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you below.

If you have created a user account, we will store your data as long as you maintain your user account. You can have your user account deleted at any time; please send us a message to the contact details given herein. In the event of deletion of your user account, we will only store the data concerned to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of a contract or as permitted or required by law.

In your user account you can manage your contact details and view your current registration for a racing series. Please treat your access data confidentially and do not pass on the password you have set to third parties. We are not liable for misuse of your password, and we are responsible for it. If you do not log out, you will remain logged in to our website until the end of your browser session. This allows you to use our website and the various functions without having to log in again. Please close your browser at the end of the session, especially if others have access to your computer. If you discover or suspect that a third party has had unauthorized access to your access data or is using your account, please change your password immediately and inform us by e-mail.

Data transfer for the fulfilment of the contract

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to send you our e-mail newsletter in accordance with your consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can be done either by sending us a message or via an unsubscribe link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. The only exceptions are partner companies that are responsible for the technical processing of the newsletter dispatch.
